Blog 18 - Monday, November 21, 2016

There will only be ONE (1) blog this week! Very short week :)

This upcoming weekend is America's Thanksgiving Holiday.
Verizon and AT&T report that more phone calls are made on this holiday than any other holiday (including Christmas).

If you could call someone (dead or alive) who would you call?
Why would you call them?
What would you discuss?

Explain.

  2. I would call Eminem, cuz duh! Hello?!?!? You guys know me. I love rap, and Eminem is my favourite rapper. Dude, I could ask him for tips, ask him about his childhood, stuff like that. I would ask him how's he doing to start off. I would tell him Im his biggest fan and tell him that I rap too. I would ask him for an autograph, but Im calling him, so yeah. Peace. Copy and paste the link.

  3. I would call my uncle Nikita (Nick), that passed away. I never really got to meet him because I was only a baby and I don't really remember him. I would wanna talk to him about the afterlife. If he's happy there. How it is. If you're able to do anything you want even fly. I would want to thank for being there when I was small because some people that I know of family are to nervous to meet us. Basically just understand what is really in the afterlife, and how happy he was when he was living .

  7. i would call Jesus, we would probably talk about what it was like when he was alive and if everything they say about him is true and all that nonsense. I would call him for all those reasons but mostly just to see what it was like in that time and if everything was true and if he was the son of god and stuff, kind of curious and all about that stuff.

    1. Very good one Jesus is a great person to call.

    2. I think that it would be cool to find out what it was like back then but Jesus seriously Reilly

      Delete
    3. first of all, two thumbs up for guts, Reilly. We don't really know if Jesus actually existed so good for you. You have a lot of faith, and wait... I thought you were an atheist.

  8. If I would have to call someone special it would be future me in 2036(20 years from now when I'm 34) and see how I'm doing, if I'm still alive and if I'm married or still living with my parents. I would also ask my future self what decisions I should do or what job to take or not to take. Also I would ask if the San Jose Sharks won a Stanley Cup yet. So that's who id call if I had one special call.

    ReplyDelete

    1. I think that's really original, I also would wonder what my future self is like.

      Delete
    2. I would do that too, I'd like to see what happened and mabye improve it to have a good future

      Delete
    3. Good idea I could imagine so many things happening.

      Delete
    4. I don't think that was in the instructions for the blog, plus you cant talk to your future self, cuz it never actually happened, unless you believe in destiny.

  9. If i would be able to call someone special it would be my grand father on my dad's side. My grand father only lived till i was 2 years old. I never actually talk to him and I always wish that he would still be here with my family. I always wanted to know how he sounds and how he looks. i would call my grand father if i had one special call to make.

  10. If I could call anyone dead or alive and have a full conversations with it would probably be my grandpa. Unfortunately he passed away before I was born so i never got a chance to meet him but my dad always tells me funny stories about the kind of things him and his dad would do as a child so I think it would be extremely cool to talk to him and listen to have of his stories.

  11. I think if I could call someone it would be Ray. He was my best friends step dad. My best friend and I have been friends since we were born and about 2 and a half years ago her step dad died. It was on May 10th, (which is also my best friends birthday) that Ray went out fishing with one of his friends, unfortunately the boat flipped and they didn't survive. My best friend and her family was really upset and she still really misses him today. If I were to talk to him I would ask him to tell me something to help my best friend go through the time that she's going through right now.

  12. If I could call anyone i would call my grandfather. Tell him everything i wanted to tell him before he passed. Since i was young when he passed i took everything for granted and i never really appreciated the time i had with him. I only realized how much time i lost crying over toys that i could have spent with him after he died. So i definitely would want to call him actually get to know him. We would talk about his life and everything he did and i would talk about my present life talk about everything and anything. Just get back the time we lost.

  13. If I would get the chance to call anyone, dead or alive, I would call Dwayne Johnson, because he plays in so many good movies and he was in WWE as "the rock" for many years. I always found that interesting to watch. So I would ask him about his experiences with that and I'd want to hear about all the drama that went on.

  14. If I could call anyone I would call my deceased uncles who all died at a young age, and it's even more sad that they were all from my dads side. Two of them died when they were babies and the other when i was 5 from cancer. I would've wanted to tell about all the family and the many events that they missed. I'd tell them everything beacuse two of them didn't live long enough to even witness the world of learn, and I would've enjoyed it so very much if i could actually do such a thing because no one except me and my parents actually remember about our uncles and what they missed.

  15. If I were to call anyone I think I would call my grandpa who died 2 years after I was born from Alzheimer sadly. Even out of all the people I could call that are now gone I think that I would call him as from the stories I hear from my mom he seems extremely similar to me. If I were to call him up I think that I would ask for some advice in life as he is very similar to me and he would probably give me some advice that would suit me best.

    1. Yea... Alzheimers seems like a terrible way to kick the bucket.

  16. If I could call anyone it would probably my grandma. Sadly she passed away 3 years before I was born. My dad has told me a lot and a lot of stories about her and he's told me so much about her that I practically know her. She was the only grandparent that I didn't get to meet. I would probably discuss how my dad was as a little kid. He always told me that he was the most well behaved out of the five kids and it sounded like he was a goody two shoes. I'd like to see if that was actually true.

  17. I would call my dad (died) and ask him what he's like I didn't really get to know him that well since he died when I was 4 but it would be cool to see if we have things in common plus I can ask him about all the things we did together that I don't remember and I would be able to tell him things that I don't like to talk about with my mom

  18. If I were able to call someone it would be my grand father, unfortunately he passed away when I was 5 years old. I would call him because when I was younger we would spend a lot of time together and then all of a sudden he had passed from a stroke, which took me a long time to get over the fact he wasn’t here physically with me. I would ask him how he is and let him know all of my accomplishments and my successes in life so far so that he would be proud of me.

  19. If I could call anyone, dead or alive, I would definitely call my mom, who passed away in May of this year. I would tell her how incredibly strong she was. I would also talk to her about everything we didn't get a chance to say to each other. I would tell her I love her, and that I miss her very much. I would also tell my mom about my hopes, dreams and accomplishments at the moment.

  20. I'd call my grand father. He died when I was only 3 ish due to his bone cancer caused by a leg injury which he got during the second world war. I don't know, I'd ask him about his journeys with him and his three platoons under his command during the war. Ask him all sorts of things... He honestly sounded like a brilliant man, nuclear physicist, field officer of the british army and also a rather good gambler... Seems like he'd be an amazing story teller. All in all, id just call him for the stories and to say hi.

  21. I would call aaron rodgers because he is my idol and will be my idol my whole life. he is a great qb but this year something is going on with the team because of injuries I just want to ask him to talk to everyone on the team so they can step up there game on Monday. They need help and I would love to talk to him so he could give me advise on being qb

  22. If I could call anyone in the world it would probably be Drake because he's my favorite singer and I think it would be pretty cool to be able to talk to such a big inspiration in the music business. I would probably ask him what it's like to be famous and what it's like to be such a big role model for so many people around the world. I would also probably ask him to sing for me cause that would be pretty lit

  23. If I could call someone who was dead or alive i would call my uncle Mike who died two years ago. The reason I would call him would be to warn him about the dangers of going onto the roof in winter alone. We would talk about how he shouldn’t go on to the roof and the effect it would have on everyone, if something would happen to him.

  24. If I could call anyone in the world dead or alive it would be my great grand father.I would call my great grand father because I was pretty close with my great grand father when I was young, and without knowing since I was young I was one of the last people to see him before he passed away. I would call him because i really miss him and wanna know how he is. I would probably talk to him about how his life was when he was my age because I am curious, and what happens when you pass away.

  25. if i could call anyone in the world dead or alive i would call my mom because i haven't talked to her in a few days. we would normally discuss things like school and how im doing in hockey. there wouldnt be that much to talk about after the the first 10 mins so then we would usually just stay on the line and continue what we where doing before then if something worth discussing comes up we would talk about it. i haven't talked to her in a few days because she took a little vacation back to Toronto.

  26. I would probably call Crosby because he is such an amazing hockey player and he's done a lot to help his team succeed and he also has amazing sportsmenship. I would probably call him to tell him how much of a great person he is when playing sports and when just with people. We would probably
talk about different tactics or skills I could use on the ice to make myself to be a better hockey player.

  27. If I could call anyone it would have to be my grandfather because he died before I was born so I never got to meet him. I would call him to see what kind of a person he is. My mom and my grandmother always told me stories about him and how funny and great he was to be around. I think if I met him we would have a great time.

  28. If I could call somebody dead or alive I would call my older sister Sally who is alive. I would call her because I don’t talk to her as much as I used to because she lives in Egypt and because of the time difference. I think we will discuss her dog shelter, life and my favorite tv show.

  29. I will call my grandmother, she passed away two years ago, I never really spend time with her, because she lived in the other side of the world. The last time I saw my grandmother I was mature to have a normal conversation with her, but the problem is she couldnt talk. And she couldnt really hear me. I wish that i could talk to my grandmother one last time.

  30. There is not just one person I would call but one of them would be my grandpa. Unfortunately he passed away before I was born so I didn't get a chance to see him. My dad tells me a lot of stories about him and judging by the sorties I assume he had a great personality and was really humble.
