When I first started high school, I was kind of overwhelmed. It was not at all what I thought it would be like. At the end of elementary that say its going to be hard but fun, I thought it was quite the opposite it was a little fun to meet all these new people, but everything was easier than I thought.
My memory is probably just okay. Some stuff I can remember and some stuff I can't. When I first started high school at St-Thomas i was a bit nervous but at the same time exited. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to find my classes or be on time but after a few weeks i was fine and figured out that the school is much smaller than it seems. I was also exited to make new friends. I would say I had a good memory.
I generally have a very good memory, only of the cool and important things that have happened, the things I don`t care about well i just forget in seconds, but our brain generally does that too. Anyways, I remember when I first started high school, wwhile I was still at Kuper. I was very nervous though, considering what high school looked like on tv and when i was in elementary y sister had to sometimes bring me inside to stay late. I also expected a lot of new students, because I heard half the grade 6 was gonna leave, which I was right about. of course I learned to deal with them until they turned later on because kuper kids nowadays just go with the cool kids and become bullies in the end. Of course I got sick and tired of all the no good kuper kids and I changed to go here. Of course I felt even more nervous when I came here because EVERYONE was totally new, I mean i had seen some when I was growing up but course I still had to start this on my own and find new people.
I think that I have a bad memory, especially with names. In my first day of high school, I went to Felix Leclaire. In Lunch, I didnt know where the cafeteria is. I accidenatly went to st thomas. Back then I didnt know that felix and st thomas where to school that are linked. So I wondered why is no one is wearing an uniform and why is everyone speaking in english. I walked around st thomas for about 5 min until a teacher told me that I was in the wrong school.
The first day of high school for me was good, to be honest I was very nervous and scared when I just walked in the school thinking I would only have a few friends and I would hate to be in the school and wouldn't be able to handle the work, although on the first day I made some good friends who I still talk to a lot today. After the first few days I was perfectly fine and I started feeling okay with going to school.
When i started my first day of high school i didn't know anyone. I was the only one from my elementary school that goes to saint thomas and i was very nervous. At first i didn't want to go because i thought that i was going to be lonely but i followed what my brothers told me and after the first week i was completely fine with going to school.
First day of highschool i walked through the front entrance door and this girl named Gemma was talking to me. And i just kept thinking holy cr** i can't believe i'm in highschool already. Then i went to my day 2 class because i thought since it was tuesday that it would be day 2... im aware how dumb that is but i asked someone and thank god for them i didn't go to the wrong class. I walked into my art class 121 and sat in the first row last desk. And i remember how confused i was because there were 3 bells in the morning. I was just so confused. But other then that everything went well i only remember the first moment i walked into high school. Everything went very smoothly
When I was small, I always thought it was hard since you were like starting a new life. I did make friends but its like i am completely different from who I was because of my friends. This is a big experience but in the end I had a lot of fun and it felt like a new beginning and starting again.
I did not start school in St. Thomas but in Felix Leclerc. Felix Leclerc is a bit bigger than St. Thomas and has more kids. So the way I saw it was not to stress but to think since there is a lot of kids there is more friends to make. Im never happy to go to school but I was pretty excited. Overall I had quite a few friends from my elementary school so it wasn't so bad.
From what I can remember, my first day of high school was very overwhelming. And very different than what I thought. Although I had some friends from elementary school at st-Thomas, I had no classes with any of them because I was in French immersion and they were all in IB. This made my first day of high school very stressful for me because I'm not the most outgoing person and I thought that I would never make friends. I was worried of what everyone would think of me and if people were making fun of me. On top of that, I had absolutely no idea where any of my classes were and I was late to all of them, so overall, my first day of high school was pretty scary for me
My first day of high school was...cringy. I mean I had no idea where i was going and it was really scary. Because I was already taller then most people at 5 foot 4 i didn't really blend in. Of course everyone thought i was in another grade so people would be asking me directions and i wouldn't know what to say. Everyone thought i was scary because i was so tall and awkward. And just before school started my mom forced me to get the ugliest hair cut of my life and my hair was no longer down to my waist but it was like someone put a dead squirrel on my head. So i dont think i enjoyed the first day very much
My first day of high school was nice. I was slightly frightened because I knew I was going to struggle finding my classes for at least a week but a few of my friends from before were also there in the sec 1 so it was more comfortable. A funny memory I will always remember is that, the first day of school in sec 1, I wasn't able to find my third period class so I decided to skip that class.
My memory is very weird sometimes. I'll remember the most useless stuff sometimes but I never seem to remember the important things. My first day of high school was a pretty normal day. Of course being sec 1 I was one of the smallest in the school and there were so many "big kids". I never had any siblings that told me much about high school, so I had to figure everything out on my own, like how there's two bells. A ten minute and a five minute. The first week of high school I was always the first one in class and I was so confused.
My first day of high school was... foreshadowing. Class was so boring and i don't think i had a single ounce of fun. I can sort of remember even falling asleep during a class. None of my friends (or anyone i knew for that matter) chose the same school as me so i was alone and bored all day. Not to mention the food, oh don't get me started! it tasted like fermented manure and that's putting it lightly. Needless to say, i'm happy I came to St-Thomas.
When I started high school I was at Villa Maria, it wasn’t that bad. Since I had a couple of friends from my elementary, my sister and one friend I had met earlier who was going to Villa it wasn’t that bad. I remember that I didn’t really have to impress anyone since it’s an all girls school.I knew it would be different from elementary school because there was many more people in my grade and in the whole school. I also got lost many time since Villa is a big and confusing school.
When I started high school I was at BHS, it wasn't that bad. Although going in I was really scared since I didn't know anyone there. My first day I made many friends, some that I'm still in touch with. I changed schools mainly because my parents wanted me to have a better education. Coming to St-Thomas was less scary then sec one because many of my elementary school friends were already here.
i dont have that bad of a memory. when i started high school i just remember that it wasnt that hard to make friends. i had some from my old school but most of my friends are from other school. school was bad but elementery school is worse but nomater where you go there is alwys people and things that pis you off. like mr katz
I personally think I have a good memory… for some things. Some things I can remember vividly like a funny personal experience and some things I can like where I put something and etcetera. My first memory of saint Thomas was on the first day I was overwhelmed and got lost trying to find my home room class and I was really stressed out because I wanted to make a good first impression. Then when I finally got to my home room class (with some help from a teacher) we started doing an activity and then and there I realized I had none of my materials that we needed and I just played it cool and the teacher didn't notice. After that everything was a breeze and was easier than I expected.
my first day of high school was a pretty terrible experience, I was terrified because I'm not used to all the people and all the classes, I remember I was walking to my class and it was only second period and this sec 3 came and scared me I was terrified to walk down the halls after that. now I don't mind it at all
I think I have pretty good memory I remember my first day of high school like its the back of my hand. I remember when i walked in I felt older because I wasn't in elementary school, I was very nervous on my first day of school because unlike most people I didn't know anybody like I didn't know a single person and it started to stress me out because I had to figure out the school, new friends and I had to manage my school work, after the first two periods I kinda got the hang of things and so I could start making new friends I remember my first friend was a guy named Gregor and after that everything started fitting into place and sec 1 wasn't all that bad.
When I first started high school it felt definitely better than my elementary because I didn't really like the kids that used to go to my elementary only 1 or 2 I liked so when I first got to St Thomas I found Ilias and now we've been friends ever since that day so I guess I can say that it is a good memory. But or else I used to be really good friends with this kid named Brandon Walker in elementary and we used to hang out all the time and now he goes to John Rennie and we never talk so it was also bad.
The first time i went to St thomas i was very stressed because i had just moved from Quebec and knew nobody. i arrived at school very early and i was just wanting to get to my locker and go to class. I arrived to class almost 15 minutes to early and saw nobody else so i thought i was at the wrong class. for recess and lunch i was just walking around because i knew no one and was quite nervous but that was all for day one every other day went fine and i was very relaxed
I don't remember much from my first day of high school, but I do remember being stressed and nervous because I realized how different it was from elementary school. I always got lost and never knew where my classes were and I thought that every hallway looked the same. I remember feeling overwhelmed with all the homework we got, since in elementary we barely got any. The first day of high school was the day I came to realization how independent I had to become.
I don’t remember much of my first day at school. I remember coming late to school because there was a lot of traffic. I almost missed my homeroom class and I didn’t know which room I was in. Thankfully my friend sew that we were in the same homeroom and took me with her. My homeroom teacher was so nice and sweet. I wasn’t scared or nervous on my first day because I know all the students I had know them since 4 grade.
My first day was not bad. i came at 7;45am, earlier than usual, to make sure i found my locker and got to class on time. When i got to my first class, math, i felt a very dead feeling in the room because no one was talking. Mr Nyberg came in the room and introduced himself and went straight to what we will be learning this year. My next class was English. There was a whole different vibe, the great Mr katz started off with telling us that we were not going to be the typical boring eng class. He said that we were going to be a 21st century class that will not be held down by the old school method of teaching eng class. Then the rest of the day went downhill from there
My first day of school wasn't bad.Im not really afraid of making new friends and I'm very outgoing. So the first day was easy for me,but that doesn't mean I wasn't nerves. But I pulled through and listened in my classes and talked to the people in my classes and I eventually got to meat a lot of new people. Overall it wasn't a bad day.
Dude, yo, I don't even remember last month. I cant tell you about when I first started high school, except that I was last to the first class, and that I started high school at St Thomas. I don't really have any clear memories in the past two years cuz not a lot of them are important. Some are important. Most memories were probably good though.
My first memory was how I got lost looking for my locker because for some reason they put my locker on the opposite side of the school to the sec 1 hallway back at felix. It was an accident and all but yea... They tend to put all the sec 1 lockers beside their french class.
When I first started high school, I was kind of overwhelmed. It was not at all what I thought it would be like. At the end of elementary that say its going to be hard but fun, I thought it was quite the opposite it was a little fun to meet all these new people, but everything was easier than I thought.
ReplyDeleteI agree it was pretty easy.
