This past weekend, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States of America.

Over the weekend, there were MANY protests, including a massive organized protest by women!

Why were women all across the world protesting?

    OK i'll be honest, I didn't even know that women were protesting but I do think that everybody are equal. In the past, women were always treated worst than guys since of the size but we later on realized that there is nothing that there is as a difference except for the fact that we are men and women are women. I think that they are treated evenly except for some regions, they have it the same but here they are clearly the same as men. Women are now able to participate in sports wile before they weren't. They were never able to have a job except babysit the kids at home but now they do have jobs. Maybe they think that they are not fully fair but I do because of all these stuff we've changed from the past to the future.

    i absolutely have no idea why women are protesting because were pretty much equal. before women weren't treated the same as men did, but now were in 2017, things have change dramatically. i find that woman are really important in today's world. everyone is important. we all have our rights. it's important to be treated equally because we don't want to go back on how men and woman's were treated years back. #mymother

    Personally, I think women are protesting against Trump because he is a pervert. Trump made a lot of statements that were against safety for women and you can see a lot of pictures of him where he gets sexual with women but he gotta understand those women are gold diggers and only mess with him for his wealth. Trump cant just do things like that with any women.
    Respecting Women is still very important in this world and no one should be allowed to disrespect them.

    Women all across the world are protesting because Trump has made it very clear that he doesn't respect women or treat them as an equal. Women have worked way too hard to get to where they are today. Through all the feminist of the history we've gotten to the equality of today. Of course it is not exactly equal but it's the best we got. And there is no way in hell that Trump will ruin what us women have built throughout history. Which is gender equality. How are women important? Well we are all human. We are all important. Women and men are important. Women today show that we can work hard and still succeed. We show that women and men aren't any different besides body figures.     All of these triggered women are protesting because they don't want trump as their president because he's considered a "rapist". Women are important in today's world because without them, no of us would be here. They're so important now because now days a lot more people are dying.     Women in America are protesting because they know that Donald Trump is a pervert and he doesn't treat women right. They want freedom and they don't want to be treated as slaves. Women and men should be equal, none of the gender should be abused. Donald Trump is a racist/sexist president in america, and women should fight for their right.

    I think that people (or women) are not just protesting because of trump. As we said it's all over the world for example in some countries women are not aloud to drive or do anything without a man or husband. Also there is the fact that Donald Trump is not a really respectful towards women that doesn't help him as a president.

    Women all across the world were protesting for mainly one reason. The one reason because all these women know that since now the person leading their country is a pervert and treats women like they're his slaves and he can do what he wants with them. Women are very important in todays world but still not treated as equal as men which they should be. #mymother

    Women all over the world have been protesting to fight for there rights. Women deserve equality, and trump is showing that he believes other wise. For instance trump wants to make abortion illegal, which in my humble opinion is obsurd. Women should be able to have a back up plan and not be judged or put in jail because of it. Also did you known that Viagra and condoms Aren't taxed but basic sanitary needs for women are? How is that far, or equal at all? Women deserve the right to be just as equal and trump is deliberately taking away that right. Since I have such a big family, I have a lot of strong female role models.

    I think the reason why these women were protesting is because Donald Trump is a sexist moron and does not have the qualities of being the president of the United states. Yet somehow he managed to elected to presidency and the women who were offended by Mr. Trump's remarks were outraged and needed to express how they felt about the situation. I think women are very important to this day because without women the world would be very different if Marie Curie, Joan of Arc, Anne Frank, Amelia Earhart and many other vital women to the human race never existed the world would be a very different place.

    throughout history women have been treated as a lower breed of man. In the past few decades our society has improved on women rights, but it is still not completely equal. With Donald trump as president of the United States, it is almost like we took a step backwards. Not only sex wise, but also race. The president is supposed the be looked up to by society, but Donald tump is most certainly not looked at as an idol. Women hate trump because of the nasty things he's done and said towards women. Trump is bad.

    Women are protesting because we have been treated unfairly for centuries and now Donald Trump(the most sexist human on the planet has been elected as president of the United States). So it is kind of frustrating that the world and women's rights are moving 300 years backwards. Women have been fighting to vote, to have a job, to get and equal wedge, to be respected like any other and now we might lose all of it.

    These women are protesting for feminist, too show women power and hoping one day a woman will be a president to show this feminist. But, this weekend was different because a lot of men participate in this march too show, that the election was a mistake for the win of president Donald trump and how Hilary Clinton should've of won. It was a global affect on certain countries because they have a great alliance with United States and they disagree as well that president Donald Trump should've not been elected.#mymom
