Marujana will be good for medication like when people are sick but a lot of people will take it just to get high and there will be a lot of problems with the world.some people even if there not sick they will get a fake paper that sais they need it for medication when it's not true and they just want to get high

Deletemarujana will be good for medical conditions and it'll solve the problem. i personally think that it's not a very good idea to legalize marujana in canada because lots of people do it just to be cool and others do it because they have a reason, they would do it to get rid of stress and anxiety. i think that there's a good and bad in legalizing marijuana.

DeleteI think it will be good for medical purposes and stuff. But it will be terrible for kids and students and is still a bad idea. Some of the benefits of the legalization of marijuana is that it will help with healthcare, like i said earlier. But the main setback is that there will be a lot more super stoned people out there and it will be ad for kids, being around that kind of stuff, especially if students start doing drugs at a young age and stuff.

ReplyDeleteI think that legalizing marijuana can be something good and bad. For example, marijuana can make some people feel better and brighten their mood. I can also calm someone down. But in the other side it can harm a person's memory and it can also cause death. I think that Justin Trudeau shouldn't legalize marijuana since the negative of marijuana is death.

People will use it for proper medical uses but of course some will be crazy and use it for pleasure purposes or probably sell it off to other people and get high with each other. But if we sell cigarettes in Canada I don't see my we shouldn't have marijuana

DeleteI don’t think legalizing marijuana is a good thing, it’s only good and useful when it’s used for medical purposes. A benefit to legalizing marijuana is it can help those who are in need of it. A setback to legalizing marijuana is that people will use it to act cool in front of friends and will abuse the use of it.

Deletealright so the benefits of marijuana are: boost in revenue by taxing the drugs which they can make money of off, it is more effective criminal justice and law enforcement because the polices can go chasing violent crimes instead of chasing people who have drugs on them. Wider access to medical use for people with cancer and other ranges of medical conditions. Also personal freedom which is awesome because weed and no police like hell yeahhhhhhh. Reduce street justice involving drug disputes since it will be legal no need to slap the hand cuffs out. And the drug dealers will be out of business which is safer. Now for the cons/setbacks the addictive nature. People have an open window now they can high whenever where ever unless they have strict parents that will beat them up if they do. It increases stoned driving and related cases. Increases chances of the drugs falling into the hands of a child. Danger of second hand smoking to bystanders. More people will have brain and lung issues. Poor mental health and risk of getting heart disease. And for everyone who smokes it to be cool it wont be as cool because it's legal ;) . Honestly good idea for teenagers because getting high is fun but bad idea in general because now we are gonna cause the next generation to become drug addicts. and a lot of bad decisions will be made. Honestly yes it may lower the criminal crimes of drugs but just handing out drugs legally may cause more violent crimes. So in all honesty we are good where we are. The next generation is literly as spoiled as it is. They dress like teenagers, wear makeup and have phones at the age of 5. And now we are giving out drugs. Wow you're smart.... First Donald trump is gonna start world war 3 and now Canada is gonna change it's name to the land of Druggies. Have fun with that...
ReplyDeleteI dont think its a bad idea there are many benefits from the use of marijuana. The most common is a pain reliever for people suffering from cancer. People do tend to think that marijuana is healthier than the common cigarette but studies have shown that, that reasoning is incorrect. When you smoke marijuana your damaging your lungs, however if your eating marijuana for example cooked in a brownie it does not do damage to the lungs as it does if you smoke it. It relieves a lot of people in pain and helps them in the long run. Honestly I dont think kids under 18 should be smoking marijuana under 18 your brain is still developing therefor you shouldn't be putting chemicals in your system that could damage your brain and the development of it.
ReplyDeleteThere are many good things I could think of that marijuana could help you with. The only bad thing is that if you take too much advantage of it, you could die. I personally don't think that this is a good idea because people already use it no matter the circumstances, but now it's "ok" because it's legalized.
ReplyDeleteActually If I'm not mistaken you can't die from weed, all it does is give you a high. You may do stupid things during that high but you can not die from smoking marijuana.
DeleteA few benefits of the legalisation of marijuana is that is good for a few sicknesses and for people who actually need it, it will be easier for them to get marijuana.Also for people who do not actually need the marijuana for good uses like sickness, and still use it anyway for the fun of getting high and other things, they will not be punished, like go to jail for having marijuana on them.Some setbacks of the legalisation of marijuana is that now for people that don actually need marijuana to help them medically, they will still use it for fun because it is legal and that will cause a lot of sicknesses because it is bad for you're lungs and even a few deaths.Also it will smell very bad outside because so many people will be smoking marijuana. I think this is a good idea because a lot of people smoke marijuana anyway if it is legal or not and it will help a lot of people who are sick and I find it will help people more then hurt them.
ReplyDeleteThere are some benefits to marijuana, but if anything not smoking it. It can help with sicknesses, and it can also help with anxiety and stress. Although it's not as bad as other things, it has it's ups and downs. A bad thing about the legalization is that people will be smoking weed for non medical reasons, and especially kids who are under the age of 18, your brain hasn't fully developed at it's full capacity. I agree that it should be legalized but for medical use only.

DeleteI honestly think that there is nothing good about legalizing marijuana because now the people who do it were hiding. But now because its legalized, they will smoke it around children and around people who don't like that stuff. Also a lot of teenagers are stupid and they will think it's cool to do it, then almost every teenager will be doing that bad stuff. I is honestly the stupidest thing ever to legalize it, I think the election of Donald Trump was better than this.

ReplyDeleteI don’t really approve the legalization of marijuana because the law can easily be exploited. Marijuana can be used to cure some illnesses, but people who don’t need it to cure an illness can obtain it and just use it to get high easter and won't be punished for using it. A downside of this is that more people will use marijuana and in public since it is legal and then we’d have to deal with the smell and the people who are high. Another downside is that more teen agers would try marijuana and get addicted to the drug, and the high teen agers would be a pain to deal with at schools for the teachers and the students.
ReplyDeletePersonally I don't care either way if marijuana is legalized or not. I think marijuana is good because it can help with illeness and release stress. I think that of the big advantages of legalizing weed is that people can smoke a joint without it being illegal. If people want to smoke that's on them, I don't see why the authorities should get involved. I think that a big disadvantage to the legalization of marijuana is that it may actually become harder for you to get. Right now, you could get it anywhere at anytime. Although do you think when there's a bunch of laws and restrictions involved that it will be that easy? Probably not, but I'm sure people will still find a way to buy it. In the end I don't see why they shouldn't legalize marijuana, it's not going to hurt anyone right?

The bad side of weed is that it affects your brain and if you smoke it at a young age it messes up the development of your brain. It can also irritate the lungs. I think its fine to legalize marijuana because you can't overdose on it but people will just get really high.

Some of the setbacks is if you use it as a teenager on an everyday bases it is bad for your brain. It will not let your brain fully develop. I think legalizing marijuana is good because the government gets taxes which can put into health care and education.

DeleteThe legalization and commercialisation of marijuana benefits the economy and criminal/illegal sale and distribution of the drug will become less frequent. A setback would be that people would take advantage (more than they already do). I think its a good idea as long as the proper rules and regulations are observed and enforced to ensure people don't abuse the privilege.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I think its a good thing, teens won't get any since you'll have to be over the age of eighteen to purchase some legally and I doubt people will sell it to teens or younger because the penalty is like 30 years in prison. Weed is not necessarily a bad thing, just like booze or cigarettes it can lead to addiction and bad stuff but just by itself its not bad, so to legalize it means that so many people will no longer get incarcerated for something so dumb. The only negative thing I can think of though is how we'll see morons in high school pretending they smoke it and being all around obnoxious.

ReplyDeleteMarijuana does cure some diseases and help in medical situations but it also has some bad side effect so I think it shouldn't be legalized and it should only be used for medical purposes. By legalizing it, people will start to smoke it more instead of taking it the way doctors prescribe it, so I don't think it should be legalized.
ReplyDeleteI think there will be mostly benefits because, people who do enjoy marijuana will get it no matter what, even when it is illegal. At least when it will be legal people will be getting safe pot that's probably all natural. Also there could be less fights, problems and troubles over illegal dealing.
