The best field trip I went on was a three day trip to some place called Le Petit Bonheur or something like that. I went there in sixth grade I think. I was with my friends most of the time; in my room was Maxime Petkun, Tomas Valinskas, and someone else that I forgot about. We went there in the winter. The food they had there was amazing, especially breakfast. We had lots of fun even though I don't remember everything we did. I remember that we did tubing (duh), snowshoeing, skiing (not downhill), and I remember that we stood still for a while with bird seeds in our hands and waiting for chickadees to come. Those weren't the best parts in my opinion. The best parts were when we were in the cafeteria eating, in our rooms at night having snacks and talking, and when we did this big group sort of thing in the evening when the leaders told us what we were going to do the next day, told stories, and sang stupid songs. I thought it was fun because I was with my friends. I can be happy wherever I am as long as I'm with my close friends, though sometimes I'm not. I don't know what your talking about when you say their food is good, I went there for my grade six trip to. And i hated the food they served, but it was an amazing trip none the less.
First of all Mr. Katz I love the meme you made. My worst field trip experience was in grade 1 when we were going to the sugar shack. It was the first and only time the school bus ever broke down, but I don't remember what exactly happened to the bus. Me and all the people on that bus had to ride with the three and four year old kids on their bus. Not only that but we also had to sit with them which was torture, they were so noisy and annoying and I couldn't stand them. The sugar shack was also two hours away from school so we had to spend a long deal of time with them. They weren't that bad on the way back since they slept mostly but they eventually woke again and got crazy like they were before. The sugar shack itself was still lots of fun but I won't forget the awful trip there with those kids.
My best field trip was in grade five, it wasn't much a field trip but it was a trip. We went to a place called camp tamerakouta ( not sure if that is now its spelled), we stayed there for about 3 days, it was great. we did so much cool stuff, like archery, canoeing, rock climbing, we went on a hick and lots more of awesome stuff. my favourite part was doing archery, I had always wanted to do archery and when i did it for the first time I fell in love with it. Another thing i liked about the place was the food, the food was reeky good for a place like that.
My best field trip was in grade six. In grade six our school had a graduation trip where most people in our grade went and we stayed there for two days. At this field trip there were many activities, like first we had to climb this 8 foot tall wall by lifting our class mates up,then at night had to take out flashlights and find our teachers in the woods, then we sat at a fire to talk and then went to sleep in the cabins. This field trip was one of my favourite field trips because I was with a lot of my good friends and I learned a lot from this field trip.
I've been to a lot of fun field trips that I wont be able to say which one was the best so i'll talk about one of them. In sec 1 our ethics teacher took us to St.Josephs Oratory. I liked that field trip because I learned a lot of stuff about how St.Josephs Oratory was made and the history behind it. Also the view from there was really nice.
My worst field trip that I ever had was when I was in summer camp and my camp had a lot of French people in it. I was only about 8 years old when this happened. We went to place where we would ride horses and play games. As we were walking into the place I stepped in horse sh*t and I was disgusted. All the French people started to laugh at me. Later on being the 8 year old idiot I was I decided to smell the horse crap and when I was smelling it someone pushed the shoe into my face so I had horse crap on my face so it's safe to say that that was the worst field trip ever.
one of the best field trip i went was in grade 6 at jouvence, at the camp "le petit bonheur". the animators were really nice and they planed lots of fun activities during the 4 days we were there and the 4 days passed really fast. i had lots fun there even tho its a one in a life time trip, i wouldn't go there again.
The field trip that I liked the most was when I was in grade 5, and we went to a camp up north somewhere for 3 days. We got to ski, skate and do a bunch of fun activities. Plus, it was my first "trip" with my friends so I thought that was cool. I remember it being a lot of fun.
Since there is so many positive comments I've decided to write about a terrible field trip I had in grade three. The field trip was to a rebuilt Iroquois town (No idea what the name of the place is). Anyways we get on the bus and its over 30 degrees outside. I got a decent seat on the bus near the back so it started off well. When we arrived a kid fainted and had to go inside for A/C and water. About half way through the day another kid fainted and we had to spend the rest of the day with the entire grade cramped inside a single small room with a few artifacts until the buses arrived. Overall the exhibits were actually pretty cool but the heat just ruined the field trip and I didn't enjoy standing in a small room packed with my classmates for two hours.
My best field trip took place yesterday, Monday May 1st. 12 people from my leadership class including me signed up to go to a workshop at PC HIGHSCHOOL. We shared the bus with secondary 1 rennie kids. It was an overall amazing experience. They had a 4 time world record breaking man who is named Scott Hammel. We went to the auditorium and he spoke for a while. About his experiences and showed us magic tricks. He was halarious and funny and unforgettable. Then we went to our workshop everyone had something different there were multiple speaking in which people from different schools were assigned to go to. Mine was how to deal with anxiety and gain confidence and how to start a movement. It was actually incredibly inspiring and something that i'm glad i got to listen to. Then lunch came , free food and on top of that it was so lit. They played songs and people began to form a large circle and the CSC danced in the middle they played known songs and a lot of people came in the middle and started dancing along including me. It was so fun and so high spirited and then we had other things to do and then we had a gym riot. We played games. Our school was our team and the other 9 schools were the competition. It was so fun even though we lost every single time and didn't even get placed. (but everyone cheated) At the end of the day i had a great time a lit lunch an inspiring speech a hilarious performance and an unforgettable trip and also... i got to miss school YAY!
I think the worst field trip I experienced was in secondary one at BHS it was to an rcmp assemble thing. We want to watch them on their horses and it would have been more fun although it was rainning and I was freezing. Also I found it really boring I just wanted to sleep. It lasted all day and when we went to eat lunch there wasn't any place to sit so I sat on a wet bench. I got my but all wet and you you could see it trough my pants, I just could not wait for it to end.
My best field trip was too this camp in grade 6 where we did a lot of activities that r different like playing football on ice playing football with skates playing hockey and other fun stuff we got to make shelters fire in the woods and other stuff to teach us how to survive ib the wild
My best field trip was in grade 6. It was our grad trip and we went up north to a camp place called Camp-Boute-En-Train. It was really fun since i was with my best friends Carlee and Carina and we did many activities such as swimming in the lake, rock climbing, archery and a bunch of other stuff. It was in the month of June and every year for grade 5&6 we go there for 3 days in the winter so it was nice to see how it is in the winter and in the spring.
The worst field trip that I went on was to a camping ground I think in New York state for the week during the summer, in grade six for a grad field trip. Everything went according to plan, we arrived on time, the weather was beautiful but one thing, well actually a few things ruined it. The main reason in my opinion was that IT WAS SO BORING, only a few activities were planned and the rest was free time. You might think “well that’s not too bad you get to hang out with your friends fro the weekend.” On paper it doesn’t seem that bad but I expected more. I used to be in Cub scouts and when we went camping every thing was the same but the only difference was there was things to do! We were constantly doing activities and games and had a little free time so you can catch your breath. Later on it became extremely humid and some of my friends and I were so bored and hot we resorted to playing a game we called “ water baseball” there was a tap there where you could get water but you couldn’t drink it since the water wasn’t filtered. What we did was filled our empty water bottles, got a stick and started playing. What we did was launch the water up in the air and the person with the stick swings and tries to hit the water, the pitcher would then get hit with a mist of water cooling them off. When it was over we were ready to head home. We stopped at a McDonalds to eat and then every one I presume got food poisoning except for me we were all ready to be home.

The worst field trip that I have ever gone to would be when I went to la Cabin a Sucre and my school and I were basically in the middle of nowhere. I never really had luck with field trips. I always seemed to get the worst ones. But the worst I have ever been on was my grade 6 grad trip to Quebec City. To begin with they decided to not let us stay over night, I fell over a chair in a restaurant and fell on my face, then I fell in a pile of mud at Les Plaines d'Abraham and to top it all off my grade was followed by a bunch of high guys dressed up as clowns and I almost had a heart attack(intense phobia of clowns). So yeah after falling twice and being stalked by clowns my grade 6 grad trip was the worst.
The best school field trip I've ever taken was in the fourth grade. My school at the time was Glad Park Public School. Gpps had a a lot of fundraising events so that year they set up a ski trip for everyone from grade four to eight. I remember how fun it was skiing down the slopes with my friends, but most of all with Celeste Beaudoin. I had a major crush on her from the day we met, in the third grade. Back then I thought that I was settle about how I felt, but according to my friends, I wasn't. We shared the same group of friends so they knew how both of us felt towards eachother. I loved her and she just thought of me as a friend, at least that's what we thought. Then my good friend Micheal, decided to play matchmaker. We were waiting for the ski lift for the last run of the day. When the ski lift came around Celeste and I and a couple of other friends were the next ones up. Then out of nowhere, matchmaker Michael makes a fake fall blocking everyone but Celeste and I, forcing us to ride it with eachother, then as we ride off I look back and see a smirk on his face mouthing the words " you're welcome". The scene was perfect, the sun was on the horizon, the sky had a beautiful pink purple blue colour. Sitting next to her in a romantic schene like that with my friend making sacrifices for me to get me in that situation, I knew I had to capitalize on my chance. We were just sitting there exchanging moments where I would look at her then she would make eye contact then we'd quickly look away, this happened multiple times, I was so nervous. The best field trip i ever had was my grade 6 grad trip we went to ottawa for three days and had complete freedom in the activities we did like museums or one entire day we went to the mall and could do anything. do i have to say more for you to understand that it was an amazing trip with my friends even if there was a bed time that we didnt listen to but shhh dont tell them. it was amazing in every possible way and the best part is that i was missing school with all my friends
My best field trip experience was when I went to sky dome and did skydiving I was around 12 at the time. It was really cool and a very different and unique experience. I remember being really scared though so it wasn't all that fun in the moment but in the end it was worth it. My worst experience was when I was on a pumpkin picking trip and on the way back on the bus this girl threw up all over me!! I still remember how gross it was to this day.
Well i just had my best field trip just a week ago, where i got to meet the one and the only Mutsumi Takahashi. I had much better field trip than this one but come on it's Mutsumi Takahashi. Best field trip I ever had... All the field trips I've gone on in my life all seem kinda meh-ey if that's a word. If I had to pick one out of them all though has to be a trip to Quebec city in grade five over night. I loved it because we went to see a museum exhibit on video games, we got to see some cool history related things and in general it was a nice new experience sleeping in another city over night.
The best field trip i've ever been on is probably the Vimy trip. London was absolutely beautiful as was Paris. We went on a fairy in paris and at the end of the fairy ride we got off right in front of the eiffel tower. the tower lit up and it was so pretty. The people we traveled with were amazing, our tour guide made us friendship bracelets and our newfoundland friends were so kind and funny. Our small group became very close after sharing hotel rooms and dinner tables. The bus rides were funny and interesting and we saw Justin Trudeau and the royal family. We went to a Newfoundland memorial and the guide that showed us around told us that it was a possibility that we could be standing above the body of a fallen soldier. Honestly to hear that and really think about what it means, there are no words to describe how we felt at that very moment. It just hits you and you start to think and it was emotional and meaningful and we were all just, it was unreal you'd just have to be there to understand. It was an amazing experience one i will definetly never ever forget. We laughed, we cried, we slept and we learnt a lot!
My best field trip was probably when I went to the cabane a sucre in grade 4 and grade 6. I say this because the maple syrup was amazing and we even had syrup cones. Also, they had this animal, farm section where we were able to pet and even play with animals. We learned that trees somehow make maple syrup and other cool stuff. I suggest that people visit it.
My best field trip was when i was when i was in grade 5. We went to camp Tamarakouta. It was really fun because we got to do a lot of different activities. We stayed there for a few nights and it was fun because we were with our friends. All in all it was fun.
My best field trip was in 2nd grade, it was a job thing, I don't remember what it was called. But it was pretty much a place where kids go and in different sections there would be different fake jobs to do. One was a grocery store with fake food and a fake cash register and you could pretend to work there. They also had a fire station, a farm with a fake cow you milk, a stage with a fake microphone and costumes, and a lot more jobs. I loved that filed trip so much and I think that every kid should be able to go there.
DeleteThe best field trip i've ever been on is probably the Vimy trip.
ReplyDeleteMy best field trip was probably when I went to the cabane a sucre in grade 4 and grade 6. I say this because the maple syrup was amazing and we even had syrup cones. Also, they had this animal, farm section where we were able to pet and even play with animals. We learned that trees somehow make maple syrup and other cool stuff. I suggest that people visit it.
ReplyDeletesounds fun
DeleteMy best field trip was when i was when i was in grade 5. We went to camp Tamarakouta. It was really fun because we got to do a lot of different activities. We stayed there for a few nights and it was fun because we were with our friends. All in all it was fun.
ReplyDeleteMy best field trip was in 2nd grade, it was a job thing, I don't remember what it was called.
ReplyDeletehow did I get here?
